Jodi has named this beauty "Fiona's Quilt"!

Tara Celeste's Baby Quilt with bikes was a hit! (so was her little cutie)

Jenn's sewing machine name tag is really cute!

April Meeting Recap

We had a great meeting this month! Thank you to all those who help contribute to our monthly meetings and we also welcome the visitors we had this month!

Our 1st RIMQG Sewing Day:

Ryco hosted our first Sewing Day this past Saturday from 10:30-2:00 pm. We had a nice size group of sewers working on all kinds of projects. Thanks to Becky for organizing this through Ryco and for everyone who brought snacks!

Color Block of the Month:

Leslie and Sue showed us their completed blocks for January. Bring your February blocks to the May meeting for viewing. Here's the link for those who have not signed up and wish to for this free class.

Charity Blocks:

Thank you to all who donated more "Knee Sock" blocks for our newly formed Charity Committee. Keep them coming and we will be on our way to piecing some quilts together! Use your scraps to create either "cool", "warm" or "juvenile/novelty" blocks.  If you don't have the pattern, contact us and we'll email it to you.

What is Modern?

We continued our monthly critique of a quilt to decide - is this a "modern quilt?"
